Apologies for the Long Hiatus – Inquiring of any remaining visitors if any
Apologies for the hiatus. My grandfather died and I just… stopped posting.
Would anyone like me to resume making daily and Lexember conlang posts?

I’m sorry to hear about your grandfather. I can’t point to any reason that specific that I basically stopped conlanging in 2022, though there was quite a bit going on in my life at the time, but I mostly just ran out of energy for art, and most of my conlanging friends moved on or became too busy to do much either. I don’t want to promise any level of activity, not least because I’m trying to get a new job hopefully this month or next, but I am getting interested in doing worldbuilding/conlanging again and this was a nice place to share progress. And as the internet becomes ever more enclosed in apps, I’ve come to miss old-fashioned sites like this.
I didn’t see this until now because I haven’t been reading my RSS feeds regularly in a long time, but serendipitously conlanging came up in a conversation on discord and I decided to try to link to something here as a reference, only to discover that apparently I didn’t actually ever post it here (it must have been even longer ago, on imzy). But while looking I have reread every one of my old comments, re-discovering a lot of stuff that I never actually copied to my notes, and subsequently forgot, and in the process I also saw this post in the sidebar, so I’m here now.
I also just recently fixed my worldbuilding wiki, which had been broken for close to a year due to some rather silly mistakes I made with the original mediawiki setup (and, I discovered, not even archived on the wayback machine, except like 3 pages). Hopefully going forward it is lower-maintenance and I can just use it as a wiki instead of trying to make sense of log files and keep crawlers from scanning the broken pages.
It actually did my heart sooooo much good to see you! It sounds like you’re moving with the phases of your life well. I’ll go ahead and do the (potentially site-breaking!) backlog of updates then and get back to posting.
I always enjoyed your conlanging and I’ve technically never stopped conlanging myself.
Good to see you!
What do you think of emailing some of the people who used to post here to tell them that the site is back? I wonder how many others might have just stopped checking in during the hiatus but would still be interested in participating.
Fair. I’m not sure all of the formerly active users were actually subscribed to post updates. I’ll tackle that this weekend too, barring disaster.
