  1. So some more Kofnes vocab:

    1. chosoim – midyear, from yatech osol yim, “center / heart of the year”
    2. gefmho – to not give answer, to maintain a neutral reaction
    3. bachiamho – to flirt, to go back and forth between different positions in speaking
    4. suku – open (socially, esp. to adoption or marriage)
    5. ruku – open (physically or relationally)
    6. rukushi – to invite
    7. rukutso – to hold open, esp. of signaling an offer is available if the feeling is mutual, as in a clear open door for the other party to invite
