Today I did a little tinkering with my language and successfully translated a cute sentence from a challenge on reddit called, “A child asks you…”

Is there a non-dimunitive/formal word for father? And what is the corresponding word for mother?
The non-diminutive form for father is kʰani, and mother is the feminine form kʰanu. The diminutive form for mother is nunu.
