The Dailies. July 7
Did you work on your language today? Create any new rules of grammar or syntax? New progress on a script? New words in your lexicon?
On the other hand, do any excavating or reading or enjoying stuff you’ve already created? Do you have any favorites to share?
How did you conlang today?

I finished my font; however, I learned the hard way that the program I was using is not able to export ligatures. I wanted to cry. I guess I will have to find another font-making program (perhaps commercial) to make this a reality. I just hope I can use all the ligatures I made in GlyphrStudio. If not, then I will have to do the painstaking task of snipping ~80 ligatures individually and importing each one into the new program.
Ugh.
That sucks. But congrats on finishing the font!
Thank you!
Yessir. That’d be I. Thank you for the good luck. I am going to get FontForge tonight and see how much of the font I can import into it. We shall see.
Oh no, that really sucks! Hope you find a solution for it.
Transferred more lexicon. Not at all done. It’s a wee tedious.
I bet! Your formatting is pretty though. 🙂
Thank you!
Good luck with it!
Thank you! I accept 😀
Tediousness seems to be the going trend for us conlangers, eh?
True that. But worth it in the end.
Totally agree.
No new creations, but a little bit of documentation how I’ve used it for projects in the past (which of two prefixes comes first when they’re both used in practice), so I can be consistent in the future. And maybe also play around to figure out what the current longest word via agglutination is. :p
