The Dailies. November 12

Did you work on your language today? Create any new rules of grammar or syntax? New progress on a script? New words in your lexicon?

On the other hand, do any excavating or reading or enjoying stuff you’ve already created? Do you have any favorites to share?

How did you conlang today?

  1. I’d say slightly less that I’ve been on an extended hiatus from conlanging, so much as I’ve been writing, discovering new areas that need exploration and figuring out how to apply existing knowledge. In short, nothing actually new, though I suppose realizing that the word for physically graceful is the one they use to indicate fluency in a language might pass as new.

Sorry for lurking, y’all, or being downright absent. I’ve got to get some writing done.

That said, I figured out that the Sikunn language, while related, is only related very distantly or else just had language contact stuff going on, which is good because I really don’t have time to figure out how to make it actually work as related.
