The Dailies. July 17
Did you work on your language today? Create any new rules of grammar or syntax? New progress on a script? New words in your lexicon?
On the other hand, do any excavating or reading or enjoying stuff you’ve already created? Do you have any favorites to share?
How did you conlang today?

Today I’ve been reading up on polysynthetic languages. So much interesting stuff! Not nearly done with my wiki sweep!
I also decided A Thing. So, my orclang will belong to a story world I wrote a small snippet for on my blog last week. This snippet. I haven’t got many actual lines of dialogue in it, but I decided that I want this lang to be, at minimum, (poly)synthetic enough that a line like “Track-makers, we break camp!” would be a single word. Well, the utterance that got translated into that line, anyway. Literally I think the utterance would be more like “we track-makers break camp now!”.
I feel like that’s a good goal to have, so I know roughly what I’m going for.
Nice! (Always fascinating to read up on too. I commend thee!)
