So the Ogunn (who speak Akachenti) have a practice of providing bread to restaurant customers that they may choose to give to hungry orphans that wait for bread to be offered this way. Particularly in cities where refugees are many, it’s considered remarkably stingy not to buy the bread and offer it. For this reason, the word for that kind of bread is associated with alms.
Nice bit of worldbuilding there, as always!
Thanks! ♥
Two basic verbs today:
Mezhuzh /meʒuʒ/ = to eat
Zayy /zayy/ = to drink
