The Dailies. May 19

Did you work on your language today? Create any new rules of grammar or syntax? New progress on a script? New words in your lexicon?

On the other hand, do any excavating or reading or enjoying stuff you’ve already created? Do you have any favorites to share?

How did you conlang today?

  1. Hello! I haven’t been here in ages, but some of my RL conlang compatriots were meeting up and I got jealous/bored. :p

buveni: to rinse, wash with water

kōbē: to recite, graduate (maybe back in the day, in order to be a full-fledged bard, someone would have to recite an epic poem from memory?)

-wak: converts noun into adverb (that modifies verb rather than adjective): “…wise”

pweg: disingenuously, glibly; for the purposes of being seen (“signally”)

    bwau (dipthong): to squat, crouch

    …plus a couple NSFW words/derivations.

    1. Great to see you again! I’ve been really absent too cuz of uni stuff but looking forward to get back into it this summer.

I love the double meaning of kōbē, and that’s a fun solution to how it came to be that way!
