The Dailies. September 19, 2019
Did you work on your language today? Create any new rules of grammar or syntax? New progress on a script? New words in your lexicon?
On the other hand, do any excavating or reading or enjoying stuff you’ve already created? Do you have any favorites to share?
How did you conlang today?

Nice spurt today, still feeling that belated St. Hildegard’s energy 😉
hampyabād: secret, classified (from “hampya,” knot)
kūbaē- to wonder (takes the conjunction “me,” — whether, if)
kūbaēdip: robot, android
ōpom: consecutively, without interruption (“We won four games in a row.”)
pipwik: ponytail holder
kifdandi pipfē: ponytail (“kifdandi” is “hair,” plural)
inhedip: clock (originally “water clock”/“hourglass” literally “falling object,” by extension any clock)
ūmhū: (natural) number, quantity
okufo: number (abstract)
pamwi: to melt (transitive), to recycle
ongwo: recycle bin, trash can
Not sure if I want to retcon the whole ng business, I copied that from English before I knew engma was a thing :p
I really love your words, especially for clock and robot!
Thanks! I’ve probably mentioned this before but my conculture is sort of off the coast of a larger fictional area that I roleplay as having modern/futuristic technology, so I sometimes want words for fancy SF concepts, ideally based on simpler roots.
