Welcome to the Lexember Challenge!

Every year, conlangers can take the opportunity for the month of December to challenge ourselves to add a new word to our conlang’s lexicon.

What word have you coined today? Any cultural or associated worldbuilding notes? Tell us about your inspiration!

  1. Day 17 got a super long definition because it’s got several specific uses, so here it goes:

SIS (sis) verb (trans/intrans) to make a ‘sss’ sound in order to demand or encourage silence (trans/ intrans); to calm (usually) a baby or child by making soothing noises (intrans); (of the wind) to make a soft whispering noise, to blow gently (intrans)

‘sss’ is what they use for shh in this conlang.
