Lexember 8, 2019
Welcome to the Lexember Challenge!
Every year, conlangers can take the opportunity for the month of December to challenge ourselves to add a new word to our conlang’s lexicon.
What word have you coined today? Any cultural or associated worldbuilding notes? Tell us about your inspiration!

My word for the day is lēn, which is a verb meaning “to shine”. I also did a conlang stream, where I started working on translating this list of 218 sentences from the conlang wiki. I managed two:
Om daw lēnǣt. The sun shines.
Om daw lēnǣto. The sun shone.
Do get some of the other early sentences, I now have to come up with some aspect particles. At least one for present progressive and one for future, maybe more. We’ll see.
mumpwē: to vacation, go on holiday
Ifdobo dam mumpwēbo pog fipebo damhondi efdo.
Another simple one today for Firen:
hil, n.: “coin”
