The Dailies. June 24, 2020

Did you work on your language today? Create any new rules of grammar or syntax? New progress on a script? New words in your lexicon?

On the other hand, do any excavating or reading or enjoying stuff you’ve already created? Do you have any favorites to share?

How did you conlang today?

  1. It’s actually been a couple of days since I did this, and I wasn’t even the one who came up with the text, but I was inspired to write a Sajem Tan pun that Fog came up with.

It translates literally as “What do spiders wear on their legs? Pants.”, but the pun is that the second syllable of the ST word for “pants” is the same as the number 8 (kük). I think that for now writing little short things like this is probably the best thing to do to get back into it, rather than attempting a large text and stalling immediately (again).
