So got an IPA keyboard on my phone now, very much helpful! Today’s words in K2-Nar:
Oh, that’s cool! How did you get that?
Google play store. It’s an app imaginatively named IPA Keyboard.
Can you say “We drank tea in the light of the moon” in K2-Nar?
I’ve been working hard on the grammar since you asked but alas, I’m still a tiny ways off. Hopefully, this weekend at the latest.
Huasi vunnosen ongit nohenye iejes shengoshukiaa.
That is
to drink.SG PAST tea.SG.ABS 1P.ERG.PL VOL moonlight.LOC
Love it!
Though I’m not sure I can quite parse it! What does “huasi” do in the sentence? And “iejes”?
Do all verbs only conjugate for number, or are there some that conjugate for person as well?
Huasi is the verb to drink, with past tense still using an independent lexeme. Iejes is volitional vs. yeshi for nonvolitional. Currently number. Person / gender starts popping up in K3.
Thank you!
