So there’s definitely some vocab I’m putting off trying to put together into something postable but I’m primarily working on a combo event of hammer out phonologies, then sort them into a single semi-syllabic script that all the war clans use, regardless of dialect.
This basically is first a sorting of syllabic sounds, onsets, and codas (though tbf, onsets and codas do differ by where the syllable appears in the word as well). I started doing glyphs for syllabics and they have a bar on top and if it’s a diphthong or long vowel, both go on the same glyph. So non-syllabic and syllabic versions of the same sound are written differently. I think I’m going to slap a bar on the bottom of codas and have onsets unmarked, but haven’t decided really and probably won’t until I see how well it writes.
