The Dailies. September 15, 2023
Did you work on your language today? Create any new rules of grammar or syntax? New progress on a script? New words in your lexicon?
On the other hand, do any excavating or reading or enjoying stuff you’ve already created? Do you have any favorites to share?
How did you conlang today?

For Kofnea-Kolos, not much but a word anyway:
I’ve noticed that I’ve got some verbs that are just bare root, some that have little modal type suffixes, and some that are clearly verbed from other parts of speech with the whole -tso on the end, but now I’ve also got a handful of -shi verbs, which are essentially verbed nouns, give X, e.g. yagueshi means literally “give love” and bemshi is more literally, “give color.”
Excellent! Both the productive morpheme and the literal meaning of bemshi.
Thank you! I have given both the bem and baam variants of that root a workout. But it’s such an awesome semantic group, imo.
