The Literary Week – Days 2 & 3
Woops, I went out of town and forgot about this challenge. So today I figured I’d do two quotes and call it even. We should be returning to the proper schedule after today though.
“Let us learn to show our friendship for a man when he is alive and not after he is dead.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
“People generally see what they look for, and hear what they listen for.” – Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird
It’s already rather late here as I’m writing this, so I’ll have to come back and do my own translations later.

Let us learn to show our friendship for a man when he is alive and not after he is dead.

Doing the second first because it seemed easier:
“People generally see what they look for, and hear what they listen for.”
Půt kůponnasaodu sůṙiaki sůffů samudo sůffůčo, man půt kůzattasaodu sůffů hukudo sůffůčo.
Unfortunately I’m out of time and energy at the moment, so I’ll come back to this later for the other one.
You people are impressive! I can’t even touch this, lol. I need to give my conlang a kick in the but, but that is an after nanowrimo thing.
Time for the first sentence.
Let us learn to show our friendship for a man when he is alive and not after he is dead.

Let’s learn to give our friendship to someone in their lifetime, and not outside it.
Not doing a table for the gloss this time, because it turns out those don’t get scrollbars.
